Policy
The short version: Signal Desk Pro has no accounts. Your audio library lives on your iPhone, not on our servers. The only personal information we ever hold is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us for product updates.
This policy explains what the app touches, who processes it, and how you can control it.
Who We Are
Signal Desk Pro is an iOS app published by Silverplatter Audio. "We," "us," and "our" mean Silverplatter Audio.

What We Collect
One thing, and only if you opt in: your email address, entered in Settings to receive product updates. We use it for nothing else. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or usage analytics, and the app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Everything else the app handles (your audio files, cover images, playlists, settings) stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to Silverplatter Audio servers.
Where Your Library Lives
Audio you sync or import, along with any cover images, is downloaded and stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. That is by design: the app plays from local files. We never receive a copy.
Track title, artist, and artwork for the current song are handed to iOS so they can appear on the lock screen, in Control Center, and on CarPlay.
Cloud Sources
You can add music from three places. Each works differently, and none gives us access to your account.
- Dropbox: Signal Desk Pro is a Dropbox "App folder" app. On connect, Dropbox creates "Apps/Signal Desk Pro" in your Dropbox, and that folder is the only thing the app can see. Everything inside it (audio and cover images) syncs to your device automatically. Sign-in is handled by Dropbox. The sign-in code exchange passes through a Cloudflare Worker operated by Silverplatter Audio, which forwards it to Dropbox and returns your tokens to the app without storing them. Tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain on your device.
- Google Drive: import only, through Google's own file picker. The app uses the "drive.file" scope, so it can access only the files you explicitly pick, never your Drive as a whole. Sign-in is handled by Google. There is no folder browsing and no automatic sync.
- Local files: the standard iOS document picker. Files you choose are copied into the app's storage.
Your use of Dropbox and Google Drive is also governed by their own privacy policies.
Purchases
The Professional tier (monthly, annual, or lifetime) is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles billing; we never see your payment details. Entitlements are processed by RevenueCat, a third-party subscription platform, which receives an anonymous app-user ID and your purchase and entitlement history. It receives no name or email.
Who Processes Data
We do not sell or rent personal data. These services process data on our behalf or as part of features you use:
- Apple: App Store distribution and In-App Purchase billing
- RevenueCat: subscription entitlements (anonymous ID and purchase history)
- Cloudflare Worker (operated by us): relays the Dropbox sign-in code exchange and receives your email if you sign up; stores neither
- Resend: email provider that stores the update-list audience and sends our emails
- Dropbox and Google: your own cloud storage, under their policies
Retention and Deletion
- Cloud sources: disconnecting a source in Settings revokes its tokens on your device
- Your library: deleting the app deletes all downloaded audio, images, and settings from your device
- Email: every message has an unsubscribe link, and Settings has a "Remove email" option that unsubscribes you in Resend. That is an opt-out, not erasure. To have your address deleted entirely, email hello@signaldeskpro.com
Because there is no account, there is no profile to delete or export. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you; for most people the answer is nothing, or one email address.
Children's Privacy
Signal Desk Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact hello@signaldeskpro.com and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Signal Desk Pro after a change means you accept the updated policy.
